Here is a very nice, and quite unusual twinned Calcite crystal from the Meikle mine in Elko County, Nevada. This mine is more well known for excellent "golden" Barite, but also produced good Calcites. Evn hough the bottom of this piece is cleaved, there is also a bit of embedded matrix at the bottom, and the crystal shows good twinning, high luster, and some vivid internal grey zoning. Comes with Casey Jones/Geoprime label.This specimen is 156 grams, or 5 1/2 oz in weight. The size is 2.5 inch x 1.8 inch x 1.8 inch. Please be advised, I ship with Ground Advantage.
